Standard aimed for
We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, conformance level AA. The website was built with this goal from the outset rather than adapted afterwards.
The German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) has applied since 28 June 2025. It covers certain services for consumers in electronic commerce. Regardless of how it is to be assessed in our particular case, we meet the requirements set out above.
What has been implemented
- The entire website can be operated without a mouse; the keyboard focus is clearly visible.
- A skip link at the top of the page leads directly to the content.
- Content is visible even when JavaScript is not executed – reveal effects are purely an addition.
- All informative images have alternative texts; purely decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Expandable areas and dialogues carry ARIA roles; focus is trapped within dialogues and returns on closing.
- Colour contrasts meet level AA requirements.
- Anyone who has reduced motion enabled in their system sees no animations.
- The page can be magnified up to 400 per cent without loss of content or horizontal scrolling.
- Form fields are labelled and error messages are announced to screen readers.
- The theory schedule is marked up as a table and is additionally available as a linear list.
Known limitations
The embedded map comes from Google and is outside our sphere of influence; we cannot guarantee its operability. That is why the address and route planning are always available without the map as well.
Add further known limitations here as they come to light.
