Yes. Theory classes run in a continuous cycle, so you simply join at the next date. Driving lessons are scheduled on a rolling basis too.

No. Your ID is enough to register. Eye test, first aid course and photo are only needed for the application – we will tell you the best order to sort them out.

With accompanied driving from 17 you can begin theory about six months before your seventeenth birthday. For a regular class B licence, correspondingly six months before your eighteenth.

Monday to Thursday, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. The schedule shows for months ahead which topic runs on which day and whether it is basic or class-specific material.

For a first class B licence it is twelve double periods of basic material plus two of class-specific material. For an extension the basic part is reduced to six double periods. A double period lasts 90 minutes.

There are no classes on Berlin public holidays – including International Women’s Day on 8 March, which only exists in Berlin. The schedule handles this automatically.

Yes, but please in good time. Lessons cancelled at short notice usually cannot be reassigned – just let us know as early as you can and we will find a new slot.

That depends on the issuing country. EU and EEA licences generally remain valid. For other countries a deadline of six months after registering a residence usually applies, after which conversion is required – sometimes with a test, sometimes without. Bring your licence and we will clarify your specific case.

Yes. Refresher lessons are voluntary, with no test and no application. You decide how many lessons you take.

Not automatically – you need code B196 for that. You can get it without a test if you are at least 25 and have held class B for at least five years.
