Learn more – Learn on automatic, drive manualClass B lets you drive cars up to 3.5 tonnes with up to eight passenger seats. Germany’s most common licence – and the one we have the most dates in the calendar for.
Class B covers motor vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes maximum permitted mass with no more than eight seats in addition to the driver’s seat. Trailers up to 750 kilograms are always allowed; heavier trailers are permitted as long as the combination stays below 3.5 tonnes.
Classes AM and L are included, so you may also ride mopeds up to 45 km/h and drive slow tractors without doing anything extra.
The route is the same for everyone – only the pace is up to you.
